Privacy notice

Updated: 25 August 2026

JudgeRail is a static website. There is no form, no login and no comment field anywhere on it, so nothing you type is collected here and no profile of you is built by us.

What is processed when you open a page

Two technical parties are involved in delivering this site. Our hosting provider writes ordinary server logs, and Cloudflare, acting as our content delivery network and security layer, processes the request in transit. Between them this covers the address of the page requested, the referring page, performance measurements, the type of device and browser in use, and the country derived from the IP address. None of it is used to identify you, and none of it is combined with anything else.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the site securely and keeping it available, under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation. Cloudflare acts as a processor on our instructions.

Cookies and browser storage

We set no cookies of our own and use no analytics, advertising or tracking technology. The only thing written to your browser is a single key holding your answer to the storage notice, kept in local storage on your device and readable only by this site. Clearing your browsing data removes it. This is described in full in our cookies and storage notice.

Writing to us

The one way to reach the desk is e-mail. A message you send travels through your own mail provider and ours, and we keep the correspondence only as long as the matter is open. Please do not send anything sensitive: an e-mail about a review does not need it.

The address is review@judgerail.com.

Links to Google Play

Every catalogue entry links to a listing on Google Play. Once you follow such a link you are on a Google service, governed by Google’s own privacy terms. We receive nothing back from that visit.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you may ask us for access to any personal data we hold about you, for its correction or erasure, for restriction of processing, and you may object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest. In practice the only data connected to you that we are likely to hold is an e-mail exchange you started.

  • Access, rectification and erasure of data we hold
  • Restriction of, and objection to, processing based on legitimate interest
  • Portability, where a request is technically applicable
  • Complaint to the supervisory authority at any time

The supervisory authority for Ireland is the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, dataprotection.ie. You may lodge a complaint with the Commission without contacting us first, although we would rather hear from you.

If the way the site is delivered changes, this page changes with it and the date above is revised.
